Default Capacitor or not?

So....here's the deal. I have an amp putting around 180 watts RMS. I have a 130amp alternator(upgrade ) Battery relocation. Amp is wired directly to battery ground and power with 4 gauge wire. Also have underdrive pullies. At idle, with headlights on, electric fan on, and stereo wide open, i can see the batt gauge drop just a hair then pick back up when the bass hits. Do I need a capacitor? I know it would be a small one, half farad max, but do you think I actually need it?

Default RE: Capacitor or not?

put the stock pulley back on the alternator or add a second battery and possibly thicker gauge wire?
I have around 1100 rms running off of stock spec battery and 1 gauge wire and it rarely dims and I only have the (i think) stock 75 amp alternator.

I dont want to explain all why caps are bad

I know meany people still argue about them being good but read the entire article before buying one and think about it first.

a good person to talk to about this would be Ttocs hes helped me with a lot of car audio advice
