i just bought a set of gt40 heads off ebay. And i get them and the valve stem seals are smoked(the springs on top) and im pissed . But, if anyone knows what diameter i need to get i would really appreciate the help.

.562 guide 11/32 stem

I believe they are 11/32 valve stems and the seals are positive type and cam be found through places like summit racing and mustangs unlimited

summit was showing all the seals to be .530 but i swear they are supposed to be .562

and you dont want teflon, you want the OEM style they are much better for a street motor

or you could walk into a part store and ask for stem seals for a 93-95 cobra, or 96-2000 exploder/mountaineer
