im wondering if i have the right fuel pump to send the right fuel pressure to the efi motor thats going in this car. its a 85 vert that have a 5.0 cfi motor. im putting in a spare 86 efi motor i have. and do i need the carcoal canister thing? i think my fuel lines come out to the engine bay in a way differant place too. i picked up a freshly rebuilt aod out of a wreck bad 85 the motor had pistons marked .3000 and all was clean as hell, friend bought that, i bought the aod so now i have a motor trans and mint lookn converter and flywheel, and starter sheild and im itchn to get the vert going! but 85 is a differant animal than a 86. i have the entire wire harness and ecu, think i need a alternator and thats it, brake lines and stuff previous owner removed. splice into the hacked up original harness for stuff like oil pressure, temp and stuff and i think im ok. anyone do a efi on a 85 cfi?
