I am planning on running this cam in a 347 stroker for a Cobra kit car. It specifies a 351W but I have read cams will interchange without problems. I am concerned about the distributor. Mallory stated the gears were the same size but Edelbrock told me I needed to run a 351W dizzy. But the oil pump shafts are different sizes. I am getting so many answers I am confused what is absolute correct.

PLEASE HELP direct me.

Edelbrock just emailed me back and said they overlooked the oil shafts being different and to go ahead and run 302 dizzy. At least that takes out the conflict.

yes that cam will be fine, just use the 351 (same as the later 5.0) firing order.
