Default Cam question

I have a 1984 with a non-roller motor but i am going to put new heads and intake and headers and exhaust on it and i want a cam to go with it. i wanted to put the E-303 cam in it but a buddy told me that he thought that the E-303 was a roller cam. Is it? and if it is can i still use it? if i cant what should i do?

the e cam is for roller engines you can't use it with your set up,
i know edelbrock sells a cam w/intake kit for pretty cheap look
at summit racing. you have a flat tappet cam..

thare is a fit up kit to make a flat tappid block rollar , But not worth the money on a older engin .

The cams that I like the best are the crain power max they kick *** and make big power. If you go with the gt40 head they dont flow mutch more over .500" lift so I don't think it's worth the extra ware to lift the valve to mutch over .500" to get 10 more CFM out of the head

For a 100% daily driver ( that means it is your olny car and you olny drive this car ) 285* adv durration is the most I would run , and 112* is a tight as I would go for the LDA . NOT saying that the engin won't take aney more just on the street this is the most I would push it for the cam specs
