I took out the radiator and drained all of the fluid in there. I didn'tget it out of the block though. I let it run for a little while with the rad cap off. Should I maybe do that for a little while longer?

i would.. and make sure the thermostat is opening. what temp stat are you using?

i left off my temp sensor and let it warm way up and then installed the unit and topped off never over 182 with a 180 t stat

I just thought of something. I threw on the explorer intake without ever putting in a different thermostat. So I am running what ever is in there. I'll swap it out later and see what happens.
