u have hard srarting.. thats one thing i dont have. I cleaned the maf this afternoon and still nothing D:

Did you try doing whatBoss_Hotrod said? The cylinder balance test?

yes, all cylinders are fine 90 came up and im fine. man this sucks i think i have a bad maf sensor.

Kennebellgt you might be having the same problem I had. The sensor in my distributor went bad. Would buck and carry on when hot and would be hard to start when it got hot. Now I just think my starter is getting heat soaked due to the longs since it starts quicker but is still a little slow. One more thing you guys should check should be your timing chain. Eay way to tell this (without pulling the cover) is to use a timing light and see how bad a mark at 10 (stock base timing) moves around on the balancer. If its erratic your chain could be shoot and cause all kinds of firing issues.

hey guys. another thing i would check for is the IAC. i had a similar problem with my old 5.0. car would run fine for a lil bit, and then back fire, and miss like crazy. this problem also drove me nuts. the way i figured it out was i pulled my old one out and sprayed the hell out of it with carb cleaner to clean it out. it ran somewhat better, still bogged, but didnt missfire. when they go bad, its time to replace them, but i figure i should throw this idea out to you guys.

Thanks for the info guys. My IAC is fairly new, I took it off and it was barely brown... still looked kinda new. I will check the timing tomorrow. Thanks Boss_Hotrod.


Well i changed out my o2 harness and 1 o2 and it seems to be driving alot better. My old harness was chopped and screwed. It might havetaken care ofthe major issue(s)I was having. I took her out for a little cruise tonight and she was running like a champ compared to before. Iwill knowtomorrow if it was the problem for sure after I drive some more. Thanks for all the help guys.

you cant run a pcv valve and open valve coversit will cuase a vacaum leak.

if you think its an injector drive it for awhile then pull the plugs and look for a really clean one or one thats burning the elctrode I had a pluggeg injector and this is how I found it.

there is an ect probe on the lower intake it is a fuel multyplier for incoming cold air they get right nasty on the foxes pull it out and clean it or replace it should be on the lower intake right front......

dont know if this will help just my 2 cents.

Well I had to put a breather in one of the valve covers because the pcv valve kept blowing out and spitting oil eveywhere. (i think its the supercharger thats causing that) Should I just put a pcv in the valvecover and run a vaccum line to the tb?
