slicks for my stock rims
i got some regular steel wheels that are of the same diameter and width of my stock mustang wheels and i wanna know if a good manufacturer like hoosier or good year makes a slick that fits the stock rims on my 89.also how tall of a tire can i fit onmy mustang

9x28x15 also can work well if you have the gearing for them 4.30 or better still 4.56.
My 83 GT in pictureruns a 9x28 w/ a 4.56 and has a best 60 foot time of 1.65.
Which is hauling a@# for a car with approx 300 HP.

i kinda wanna avoid micky thompsons though, i got a friend who runs a set on his 73 340 dart, andhe switched over from some hoosiers and lost a bit of the traction he had at launch

other than the leaf springs in the rear its not much different from a mustang.i dont see how the difference in the cars body would affect the tires so the fact its a dart isnt the problem.ive never heard anyone say a mickey thompson is awsome on a mustang but shouldnt be used on a dart because its a dart.
