there is a bunch on ebay for about 300 bucks but im wondering if its a better manifold than the cobra intakes that go for around 400 or if the tubular gt 40s for around 500 are the best.ive been plannin on a cobra manifold but if i can get about the same performance out of a typhoon ill do that

i just wanna get as close to 300 horsepower as i can for as cheap as i can do it.im gonna throw some gt 40ps, headers ,intake and ignition on this summer and if i can save some money on the intake ill be able to add a throttle body to it.but if i can do it cheap enough illalso get a e-cam. i dont wanna mess with setting up an explorer intake for my car either.do you know anything about the typhoon or like have a link with some flow #s

just my 2 cents, but i like the gt40 u & l intakesand could tell the difference from stock. i just picked up some gt40p heads today, both for $60 and the U & L cost me $30 + gaskets. the gasket kit is on ebay for $100. so it will all be done in my driveway for less than $200. i may purchase a cam and drop it in while i got it apart. but i think gt40 is alot cheaper if you are mechanically inclined and live near any decent junkyards.

I have one, just got it and for the money I am very happy. It uses a 1250 felpro gasket, it will cost you about $34 from summit with shipping or you can get it local for the same price. I would get the typhoon over the cobra...they are both made in china and the typhoon is less $$

typhoon is what i am going to be looking for my car (good to know i need another gasket) i hear they are great for the money but need some port gasketing when you recieve it... however i hear the tubular gt40's get a little more low end torque
