I have an 89 5.0 and am fightng to get thru emissions here in arizona. I havn't had any problems until i put an Edebrock performer intake on. It used to go thru emissions with flying colors. I have to take off my x-pipe and put my stock exhaust on w/cats to get thru. I got codes saying it was my map sensor and egr sensor but afte replacing it got worse readings. Do u think it might be the cats? Any help would be great.

Make shure the car is nice and hot with good gas

do you have all the vaccum lines routed correctly and no vaccum leaks present???
