do you think it could be the clutch cable not properly adjusted?

edit: I have aftermarket firewall adj. but I am pretty sure it was set to what it was at before...

hey atleast taking the motor out theese cars isn't to hard. a few wires and hoses and she comes right out good luck with that im doing my clutch this weekend [sm=gears.gif]

yeah but I do it the other way from under the car

no engine hoist for me. I have access to one. but I have a transmission jack im borrowing so its not too bad. just super humid in mississippi

well looks like its the flywheel. the flywheel has what looks like burn marks in the shape of the clutch disc and in the middle of the flywheel there is dust like material from disc

I will take pictures as soon as I get it off.
