ok so im bored and want to go ahead and install my shortie headers. currently there is no hpipe installed on the car. it should be in early next week. ok here goes the questions. the gasket that came with the headers has a "smooth" side and a side that had ridges around the openings. which side goes towards the headers? next question is will it hurt anything, other than my ears, if i start the car and move it when the headers are on? i need to move it farther back in the driveway.

you can start the car with open headers just not to long sitting there bc it will get hot
