Default A9L computer

I have a 347 with #30 injectors and a 75mm throttle body and mass air with a bunch of other mods. I have 2 computers both are A9L. The first one I had in we were able to get the car running pretty good but it wouldn't start once it got hot. I switched computers and it now starts when hot but it runs a lot rougher. We've tried adjusting a few things but can't get it to smoothen out. The other numbers on the computer are different but both have a9L. Is there a difference between them or should they be the same? Also was able to pull a code and it said ther map sensor is bad. Would that do anything?

correct me if im wrong but map sensors are for speed density cars...the a9l's are for mass air flow cars..is your car converted to mass air?

speed density=map sensor, maf=bap. all you do to convert a map over to a bap is pull the line that goes to the intake and cap off the intake side as in leave the sensor open to the atmosphere. they are the same sensor one reads manifold pressure and one reads atmospheric pressure

The code is reading map sensor out of specified range. Does this mean the sensor is bad?

hmm.. I also just noticed that vacume nipple is broken and there is no line going to it. So I guess I will be getting one anyways but do i need a bap or map. Also where is the vacume line supposed to be hooked up to?
