i have a sound in my engine bay, hard to hear over my exhaust leak (POS MAC HEADERS!) can't decide if its rocker arms (they were off recently and i retorqued them to 20ftlbs) or a lifter or 2 not pumping oil

Default RE: How to tell if lifters are pumping oil?

you can pull the valve covers and dizzy and self prime the motor and watch for oil coming out the push rod to rocker arm seat/holes and that'll tell you they are pumping up/ carrying hydraulic pressure
