Default question.

i was given a set of speed pro pistons. they are .030 i still have the stock 302 block. is it bad to bore the stock block. also will the heads have to be changed.

nope not a bad idea to go 30 over but if your car still runs id wait till you get a few more parts together (cam, intake,heads) before you tear into it none of these things NEED to be changed but it would be dumb to put new pistons in an otherwise stock motor. if you have an 88 you already have forged pistons that can handle over 150k miles with some nitrous

you can bore it no problem .030 is standard and as mentioned above..wait until you have a decent set of heads and intake ready to go

i have some work done to it i have a 65mm thottlebody, e303 cam, bbk cold air intake, and long tube headers. my heads are still stock. what heads do you recomend for it. also i still have the stock intake manifold
