Default Easiest way to rid of old gas?

Bought a roller and it was sitting for a few years. It still has a little over a quarter tank of that old fuel in the tank. What do you gues suggest would be the easiest way to get it all out?

Is dropping the tank needed or is there some line i an dissconnect to get most of it out then just fill it with some fresh fuel

sounds like a good plan. But on order to carry that out i have to first get the gas out of the tank.

I had a little over a quarter tank on the project that was sitting multiple years in a field.... dropped the tank and used a hand pump to fill up several gas cans and old 5 quart oil bottles. To my surprise the gas didn't seem that bad,I still use it tofill upmy lawn mower every weekend. Point is, if it has been sitting that long you should drop the tank anyway and clean it and change the filter etc..... dispose of the old in what ever way you choose.

disconnect fuel line & ground the fuel pump relay so it is continuously pumping while in key on position.
