Surging at idle

Surging at idle

Lately my car has started to surge occasionally at idle. I thought maybe my distibutor had wiggles and moved but my timing is on... any suggestions that might help?

take the iac valve off of the throttle body and clean it with carb
cleaner..

Clean the IAC first and if that doesnt fix it then clean the EGR then if that does fix it then replace the PCV valve and clean the screen thats below it. That should fix your problem

where is the idle air control located? im having the same problem... just repaced some engine parts and havin surging idle?

right on the side of hte throttle body if you're staring at the engine from the front, then just look straight at the throttle body and there it is. it hsould be about 4 inches long
