wel last week my car just died on me and i saw some fuel leaking out aorund one of the injectors, i ended up replacing 2 injectors and putting new seals on all of them. After putting everythin back together it still doesnt start, theres no gas leaking out but i can smell it pretty stong after it trying to start. i have no idea what to do next, someone said that it might be the control module, does this sound right? what else could it be

does it sound like its trying to turn over or not? The gas smell you are smelling is that you flooded the engine with gas trying to start it to many times.

well one problem turns into another... i put in a new ignition module, and now it runs like complete crap. I made sure to put the timing back to the same spot but its running really bad, all the spark plug wires are right, dont know what it could be.

ill try to explain a little better, it backfires, idles really bad, and the car fills up with smoke inside, also a wierd whistling noise, it was raining a little bit maybe it was just the belt. i played with the timing a little bit and got a nicer idle, but its still smokey and backfiring

sounds like you have a vaccum leak to me i just had that problem and it was a vaccum leak between the upper and lower intake

so do u mean that i could have maybe ruined the gasket between there? or not lined it up right? becuase it was definetly a b*tch to get the upper and lower lined up with the gasket in the middle

yeah you might have mess up the gasket and now its leaking. you will have to take off the upper intake again and get everything linesd up
