Default someone diagnose this

im lookin to buy a project mustang and i found one that the owner thinks may have a blown head gasket...he said theres gas coming out of the exhaust. is it indeed a blown head gasket or what? anything else that would cause this? i've only spoken to him over the phone once and he didn't mention any other symptoms. thanks guys.

more than likely the seller is correct on that one, not gas coming out, but the smell of burning coolant

have him clarrify what he means by gas coming out the exhaust..if he is seeing water drip out the tail pipes that is something totally differnt..so ask him to expound on what he means..like is there a noticable loss of coolant

I'm confused on what he means by gas coming out of the pipes... like does he mean like gasoline? or a type of gas like vapor.

Take off rad cap & push the gas petal to the floor till it gets up to 5k, if coolant flies out you have a blown head gasket.

if hes basing this by seeing stuff drip out the tailpipes, its not, its condensation, but tell him it is to keep the price down =P
