Default Stuck Valve/Collapsed Lifter???? PLEASE HELP

I just built a new 306 for my notch. Put 500 easy miles on it. Everthing was good. Ran it on the freeway and it started ticking. Like a lifter. Shut it off and checked for oil pressure. Pressure was good but i could hear it wasnt right. Started driving home and it went away just like that. So which would it most likely be? Sticky valve or collapsed lifter. There was no other funny noises (like piston smacking valve) just the tick and then it went away.

Pull the valve covers and make sure a rocker didn't rotate off. If it all looks good it just may of been a sticky lifter.

They are pedestal mount scorpion rollers. It feels almost like a miss when ur driving it. Like the power is being held back. If everything checks out then what should i do next?

If the noise goes away and doesn't come back I wouldn't worry about it.
