Car jerks to either side when I hit a bump
When I drive my car the steering wheel seems to just move like something grabs it right out of hand when I hit a bump, if I don't hold onto the steering wheel tightly the car will go into the other lane. Could this be a bad caliper sticking, ball joint or bad shock. The front end of the car is in need of getting the frame straightened slightly. I do have after market 17 x 9s on the car. I have changed the Master cylinder.

the wider the front wheels and tires, the worse the car will pull
you need to check your steering geometry and make sure your tie-rods are straight. If they are not, you will need to invest in a bumpsteer kit and an alignment

my car also does this after my manual steering conversion... not sure if its just because of the manual steering or if something is wrong. I havent gotten around to checking it out yet though.

Sounds like bumpsteer to me. Common problem with the fox but a easy fix.
