For the front I put them behind the wheels on frame rail and on the rear I put them in front of the wheels on frame rail....is this alright?

why get jack stands? get rhino ramps, they're plastic compound ramps, they're awesome and they even fit under my friends 94 that we cant even get a jack under.... they're the only thing we can use on his car

It gives you more "hight" to get up on the ramp. When I still had my lincoln, I had it slammed so it drug on the ground (for a week ugh) and I had to use 6 2x4s stacked sequentially 1, 2, 3, tall to get up on ramps. Its basicly like making smaller ramps to get on the bigger ramps

for mine n my g/fs car i use 2x8's or what ever to get the car high enough to get a jack under then use jackstands exactly the same places as mjr. safest possible places. ive heard horror stories with ramps.

i guess if you dont know how to use them...... just drive up..... they have a stop on there, and if you put the e-brake on when you go up the 5.0 has enough torque to pull up them but wont slip back, just dont rip the brake till you're parked. i've used my ramps for years

probably heard of people flying off because they never drove a stick up a set of ramps. lol
