Default clutch adjustment?

Hey guys need some help, im kind of dumb when it comes to clutch adjustment . I have a fire wall adjuster, and was wondering if i make the adjuster longer or shorter to make the clutch grab lower?


also all of a sudden my rear end is leaking???? i just had it rebuilt about 1 year ago with 31 splin axles, 4.30 gears, aubern posi, trick flow cover , all new seals and bearings>>???? anythoughts?

You need to add slack to the cable (longer) to grab lower and as far as your rear, have you looked to see where it's leaking?

ok cool, and i put my finger in a puddle and its definatley the rear end fluid. Its a darker color almost like a watered down black. And it smells like the inside of the rear end.

No, you must rotate it clockwise so the cable is looser. But becareful, if it's too loose it may pop off the quadrant.
