question about heads
 

on my stock internal 84 i am going to buy sone E7TE heads for it off of Ohsoquik next week and i was wondering could i go ahead and bolt them on and gain some performance or should i just wait til i get the intake and cam and stuff ?

e7te are stock heads, why not get some gt-40 heads off an exploder?

well i am going to port and polish them and bore them out to make them killer

does that sound like a good idea? i am going to put them on for now and then when i have the cam and intake and bbk headers i am going to take my machine shop the intake, heads, and headers and have them matched and then while that is being done instal the cam. soubnd good?

I think you need to do more reaserch on this man. I dont think you can bore cylinder heads.
in all the money you spend on doing that, you could have just bought a good set of heads.
just save for some AFR 165's.
