Default rev limiter

how do you go about deleting the stock rev limiter? is there anyway to do it without having chip burnt?

what year mustang?? fuel cut on efi ones is 6250..so you'd bypass it via a chip or tune

I bought a ford motorsport extender used on corral.net. I can set the rev limiter from stock to 13000 rpm.

then you don't have to worry about deleting it because it doesn't come into play on a carbed car since you're not using the ecm

I guess yal want to float some valves lol,. But aint much if any power above the factory limit, unless your running a decent set up.

sorry for the mis information... car had a carb last year, im putting edelbrock rpm 2 on it this year. i have an upgraded cam, edelbrock aluminum heads, theres no falve float at 6800 prob could get away with 7. it pulls all the way there too...

A N/A 302 with clev heads, intake and cam made 400 N/A HP at high rpm.


If you find a guy on here whohas a programmer, im pretty sure you can pay him a little cash to ship your ecm to them and have it taken higher.

quite pos, they need gas money
