remove all efi set up and add a elec pump for carb set up with regulator or install a reg on existing efi set up and add a carb ignition system such as duraspark and intake and carb..........if you buy all parts new cost will be between 600 to 800.....if bought used cut price in half maybe

What kind of regulator would be used with the existing EFI? Is it a pretty easy conversion? Could you leave all of the EFI harness in tack for future?

^^^^^^you need a regulator with a two port inlet to run one to return line...you could of course use a holley regulator and use a t connection on the inlet and run other side to return...it's not hard with a little tech knowledge and you could leave all efi harness in and intact..seen it done before..it's not clean and pretty but possible

Use a electric inline pump kit holley blue and regulator, duraspark w/a MSD box, intake and a 600 ish carb. I run a holley black with a Mallory bypass regulator and all new aluminum fuel line 3/8 supply and 3/8 return. Performer 289 intake and EDEY 600. Had to change the mettering rods in the carb though. The prob with using the efi pump is the lines. You're going to be returning more fuel to the tank so you'll need a larger return, stock is 1/4. The supply is also only 5/16, fine for a 302 but not too much bigger than that. Good luck

Like ive said before...EFI is nice until you start making some power...then it gets expensive. If youve got the money then ok...but iam currently getting rid of my EFI too. Sorry I dont make big money.

carb is simple to tune and make good power if you understand the basics

Real nice carb system is way less $$$ than a real nice EFI system.
