if its broken throw it out and get rid of your cat's also and if u cant get it out use a pipe wrench.

'Clack' or more of a 'tick'. My Smog pump line is broken off inside the engine bay, just before where it would turn to go to the exhaust, and it makes a ticking noise. You could have a leak but who cares ditch the cats and smog pump.
