Default N2O in a 5.0

Well ive done just about all the "bolt on" preformance parts for the 5.0 including heads, cam, rockers, exhaust, ignition, intake etc....now i want to do a small shot of nitrous IE: 75-100 shot...Ive done alot of reading and asking questions and im going with a NOS wet kit. I want to do the install the RIGHT way. Before i just go spraying i want to do all the changes nessicary to be running nitrous. Should the stock fuel pump be enough or should i upgrade just be be on the safe side? Should i invest in an air/fuel ratio gague? Like i said before i wanna do this install right so if you have any suggestions please post em up thanks -Mike

might not be a bad idea to add at least a 190 lph or 255 lph pump since you have other bolt on performance parts......with nitrous you don't really need an a/f gauge with a wet kit besides by the time you realized it was lean it'd be to late!!!.......best to buy a bottle heater, pressure gauge for the bottle and on the hood and a purge kit and with the 100 shot not bad idea to pull 2 degrees timing to be on the safe side

Good advice. Anytime you are running a power adder in my book an A/F gauge is a must have. A 100 dollar gauge and save you thousands. With running all those mods please don't forget to pull timing.

those cheap lean rich ones that toggle back and forth are a waste and won't tell you a thing... you'd need a wideband if you really were concerned with A/F
