84-85 had cfi/efi=[:'(]also had 4 barrel carb option in 84-85 and in 86 switch to sefi and was SPEED DENSITY......89 -95 = mass air equipped = easier for ecm to adapt to such performance mods like a cam swap

oh no... i can see this going on forever
anything 86 and up was efi, the 85 was the last of the carbs. since you're wanting efi and you asked about hatches, they were made the whole time they were efi as well, so anything 86-93 will be hatch, coupe, or vert BUT, in 86-88 they still had the t-top option which i personally think was awesome and i hate that they let it go... which was a hatch with t-tops. the 86 stock for stock lacks alot, small brake rotors, smaller intake port.... the 86 had 10 inch rotors compared to the 87+ having 11's also the fuel curves are better in a 87+ computer. the 5.0 also continued into the sn style for only 2 years, 94 and 95, while they are heavier, they have less body flex and are great for street. i have both styles, i love both my fox and my sn. they'll both be fun so pick your poison

If you are looking for a notch you'll be looking for an 89-93 forthe caryou're asking about. But I know around me a nice 4cyl notch will go for about $1500 more than a same condition hatch gt. If you are looking at notchs for the weight difference there is a couple hatch options you can go with such as a fiberglass hatch or a plexiglass window will do the trick to lighten it up. If youwant a notch just for the looks be prepared to spend a little more than a hatch depending on your area.

Depends on your driving skills but high 14s aren't out of the question on a well maintained, good running car. Low 15s will be more than likely.
