Default mass air conversion

I just purchased a 89 mustang lx 302. It was originally a four cylinder car and is currently set up for speed density. Ive been told first thing i should do is convert to mass air. Is this true? What do i need to do this? Ive been told i need a whole harness and a mass air computer. Ive seen kits on ebay with the meter a small harness and everything else you need. how much power should this free up. Thanks, any help is appreciated.

Default mass air conversion

you will probably loose a few hp in the conversion, only convert if you plan on upgrading engine parts.
