Default Clutch and rear end questions....

So after breaking in my H/C/I i decided to light up the tires. After lighting up 1st gear i came to a stop and my car would not come out of first gear. Turn car off, put in neutral, restarted and now it's fine!? What could this have been? Next question, what differential do you guys recommend? The car is only leaving one leggers.....lol. The previous owner put 4:10's in the rear(it's a 5 speed by the way) and first gear seems way to low, do you think I'll be happier with 3:73's? Thanks for any info. in advance! -Dave

Default RE: Clutch and rear end questions....

yes people with 5speeds are said to have better luck with 3.73's. i'm guessing its a stick by the way
and as far as rear end if its just a street car than just get new clutches for the diff and it'll be good as new.
sorry tho i don't know what would cause it to stick in gear like that tho, maybe the clutch cable needs to be adjusted??
