new clutch cable.

my old clutch cable broke so i ordered one from advanced autoparts and installed it today. the problem is when you let the clutch pedal out it doesnt disengage all the way. does anybody know if i can adjust something or what i need to do to fix the problem. the car is a 94 vert all stock. thanks for any help.

If it is the same as the 87-93 mustangs pull up on your clutch pedal with your hand a couple times. You should feel some clicking that should release some cable.
