RE: Anyone running a TKO Faceplated?
im going to get one myself. a tko 600 and faceplated.
you have to match the rpms on the downshift, thats the main thing if i recall correctly.
it makes it easy to upshift, esp at higher rpms than stock form, but downshifting suffers.

why even bother? just leave the tko alone, they shift AWESOME compared to the original 3550.
even at high rpm, i was shifting my fox at 7 k with my tko 600 with no problems SLAMMING the gears

RE: Anyone running a TKO Faceplated?
I've been waiting for myTKO from liberty for 13 weeks and going back in tomorrow...Paul @ liberty said it would be easier not to down shift if atall possible,,He also told me thatyou would have to be hold in gear as with no syncros,,when you let off the throttle it will want to pop out of the gear its in...I was wondering if anyone had this already and what they thought about it driving around town....I'm pretty excited..as I was shifting at 6400 in it before...and sometimes it would ,,and sometimes it wouldnt..Also Paul told me that powershifting would be cake and damn near clutchless, but he would advise against though ...Thanks fo the response....

RE: Anyone running a TKO Faceplated?
eh to each his own i guess. but that was power shifting as well. i know the old 3550's were junk according to most people, and i was worried about high rpm shifts but mine works great. maybe got lucky..
