just saw a write up in the new 5.0 mag about the new dart iron eagle heads. the heads made 284hp on a stock block with supporting mods. any input on these heads. price seems pretty fair at a little over 1k.
There decent heads, stock valve placement and all. Unless they changed the geometry on these heads, which I dont think they did. Nothing to get real excited about
woodsy what do u think are the best performing heads out of the box?
OOTB with room to grow? Wedge Head and Hi Port for the average enthusiast, very good heads with more room than most people need down the road. A 185 CNC wedge head is absolutely an awesome piece. You buy a stock 170 wedge head, get bored, send it to Tooley at TEA to run the 185 program on it and your done. Canfield is also a very good head, I use the TFS/Canfield stuff ALOT
