rattling

Default rattling

i have this weird rattle that when i go over rough bumps then after i hit a few smaller ones it keeps rattling then stops sounds like its coming from in the back like a exaust pipe or in the trunk i have the spare tire out so it isnt that ?

check you exhaust clip thingy (cant think of what its called) then check your speakers and look where your spare tire should be and see if there are bolts ext. back there.

i think its the spare tire and the jack hitting together sounds like you need to tighten down the bolt back there

i would check your tail pipes. maybe there banging somewhere in the back of the car. get under neath the car while the pipes are cool and try shaking them. maybe you went over a speed bump and hit your exhaust.

I just broke my rear sway bar a couple of weeks ago. It sounded like someone was tapping the undercarriage with a ball bat. It happened under the exact same circumstances and came from the same area you stated. I replaced it with one from Maximum Motorsports. SN95's have weak rear sway bars. Its very common for them to break where they bolt to the control arm. Get under the car and see if you can lift up or pull down on the rear sway bar. Try both sides.

ok i went out and found that my sway bar has bolt threw them but no nuts u think that might be the problem i dont think its broken i might put new bolts threw it anyway
