Default Fuel pressure question

I have an adjustable regulator, with pressure set to 36psi with vacuum off and I am having cold starting problems.I have 24lb injectors that is the reason for a tad lower. Anyone else have these problem? It is fine with the stock regulator at 40 psi. I didn't think 4 psi would make problem like that. What do ya think??

Not sure yet, I bumped it up to 38 or 39. It has to be cold, so I will see in the morning.

Stock it is, but I have 24lb injectors that I don't really need yet, so I lower it to compensate.

you shouldnt have to turn down your pressure... they dont constantly putout 24lbs only when you SLAM the gas, the computer will know when the engine needs the added fuel. just set it back up

that you can UP the pressure, thats the biggest point, the higher the pressure the more will squeeze through the injectors in each pulse, remember the computer is under the impression that it's sitting at stock setting

Well, it tends to run rich up top with the 24's and lean when I had 19's. At the track if I lower the FP to 36 from 40 I pick up some ET So it does work, but it makes it hard to start. I guess I will just run it at 40 during the week and drop it down at the track.
