ok i found the stamping gtp, which is the gt40p heads. ok so now whats the difference, which makes more power etc etc.
i did read in one place that the gtp heads have a different spark plug angle and require a special header. this is the quote i found on it,
"I believe all 5.0 V8 Explorers got the GT-40P heads. Which are different from the GT-40 head. The P head has the spark plugs coming out at a different angle, which requires special headers. FRPP sells the headers you would need.
bbk shorty headers will work I know and they do sell special headers for the p-heads aside from that...p-heads are slightly better than regular 40's and 97.5 and up explorers had p-heads below that explorer 5.0's had regular gt-40's

Blue injectors are 24#. It could cause richness if you has a 19# mass air because the computer thinks it has 19# injectors but it has 24# and 24s put in more fuel. 25psi sounds real low should be around 40psi.

so should i try putting in a new 24lb maf sensor? but i cant see making the change from 19 to 24 and upping the fuel pressure would make that much of a difference.

also i should note that the car is wired with a painless 5.0 fuel injection harness. im not sure if it is the kit with the ecu or the previous owner is using an old ecu from a previous mustang. i will stick my head under the dash tomorrow and find out. mabe this might have somethingto do with it too.

considering a 19# injector only flows 80% of the fuel that a 24# injector does... you have basically allowed the motor to spray more fuel in, even though it doesnt know it.

Put your fuel pressure back up to 39 psi before you ****ing blow something up.. and intall a god damned calibrated MAF

We arent telling you this stuff for the hell of it.. STFU and just ****ing DO IT
