Default burning oil

okay so about every month or so i have been having to add about a quart of oil to my car. what could be causing me to burning oil so fast? theres not any oil on the bottom of my car so i don't think im leaking. but i could be wrong. any suggestions on what to do. and i don't know if this has anything to do with it but my car seems to be having a miss fire or something. and my car is a 95 gt

Look at the plugs. Are they Black?
Oil might be going through your piston rings.
But I Have No idea.

another small possibility is that the pvc valve may need to be changed. It's located on the back of the intake and has a black tub connecting to it. that valve is to releast crankcase pressure and to prevent oil from sucking up into the vacum system.

wrong!!! you fail!!! if it's an internal issue such as rings or valve seals using thicker oil may slow it down but will not cure the prob..there is no miracle formula in a bottle that'll fix an internal issue if it is not a plugged up pcv system
