Head Gasket Time, Turbo 5.0

RE: Head Gasket Time, Turbo 5.0
studs screw down into the block, and then nuts are tightened down the on head.
They more evenly displace the torque around the head to resist head bulging and flexing, espeically under boost. Thats why they're recommended. Bolts stretch and are usually, simply, weaker.

you know this is a great time to think about finding a nice set of heads for the car maybe some gt40's and a cam to go with your turbo so you have less valve over lap that way you can use more of your forced induction instead of blowing a bunch of your air fuel mixture right out of the exhaust valve as the intake valve opens

I understand this is in fact a great time to do the "might as wells" but sadly they don't fit in the budget at this time.(I know I will regret this later down the line but the head gaskets will go again no doubt) Would ARP Head Bolts be sufficient? I mean they are much less expensive yet they made of the same stuff aren't they?

A friend of mine kept blowing head gaskets due to a power adder like you. He tried everything but nothing worked. He finally got it fixed for good by o-ringing the heads. His was a nitrous car.

i would get a better top end too, you could probably be making MUCH more power without those E7's holding you back
