ugh so confusing. i think ill at least get 15-20 out of just the exhaust because its basically straight pipes (shorties, o/r h pipe, and loudmouth resonators) Is the CAI even worth the money, will it actually bring me 10-12hp?
if you're not really gonna be doin too many big mods to the motor then i say yea i think it would be worth it

your a fool, who cares if its at the flywheel or the wheels, its the same concept, the only REAL difference is about 75, and even then, horsepower is just a worthless number, and it only counts for one day, the day the dyno is done, because the day before he could have made 10 more, the next he could make 10 less, and i didnt make the thread, what am i supposed to care if theyre destroyed or not, they were to quell the myths that "bigger this and that give you 10 kajillion horsepowerz111!!!" do YOU understand what im saying?

also, with that exhaust, you will probably lose some low end torque, just FYI

once again, the intake may or may not get you some more power, same with the e-cam, but dont, i repeat DO NOT jsut put those on and not upgrade the heads, e7s suck and you will never see the benefits of either until you change them

but to the OP get the stuff, it will be worth it, if not now, in the long run, and it will sound sick, just dont expect to run 12's

Fuzzy Dice is pretty much right here, IMO you're not going to have 250hp with a full exhaust, cold air intake, underdrive pulleys, etc. 250hp is more like what the 95 Cobras had with GT40 heads and intake. All those small bolt-ons won't really benefit you until you swap the heads, cam and intake to something that flows reasonable.

other things you can do to squeeze more power out, delete the smog pump, a/c and powersteering

if you delete the powersteering how are you going to turn??

Exhuast on a 5 speed will add 15-20 hp alone... i've seen dyno charts proving it...

U/D pullies maybe 5 or so

CAI 6-7 rwhp

so figure a normal 5speed fox puts down 190rwhp

you will be at 220rwhp or rougly 250hp at the crank.

i agreed with fuzzy dice about that exhaust system loosing lowend. if i were you id put some different mufflers on for the time being. i went from long tubes-off road x-straight pipes, and then put mufflers on and it was a noticable difference in low end. a nice chambered muffler should benifit you, flowmaster 40 or dynomax super turbo. (the dynomax arent that loud tho.)
