Still getting KOEO code 22 - Map sensor out of range
Replaced all hoses on upper intake(MAP Sensor hose,PVC hoses, charcoal canister hose and purge valve(broke it[:@]) Also, replaced intake gasket and no change...it only starts right up cold, once at operating temp it dips to 350 rmps and dies.

Using the following pinout diagram of the sensor, ID the wires in the harness connector....
Perform the following checks with a DVOM:
1. IGN ON check voltage between VOLT REF and SIGRTN, 4-6 vdc = pass
2. IGN ON check voltage between VOLT REF and battery (-), 4-6 vdc = pass
3. IGN ON check voltage between MAP and SIGRTN, 0 vdc = pass
If the above checks out OK, borrow a MAP/BP sensor from any Ford and check is code 22 is a repeat. LUK

RE: Still getting KOEO code 22 - Map sensor out of range
The tests make sure you have the ECM provided ground + 5 vdc VRF and MAP wire is not shorted to VREF. The las part is a way of checking the condition of that MAP, since the MAP signal is a frequency based signal (Hz), you would need a DVOM capable of reading Hertz to check the MAP's actual output. It is "less expensive" and faster to check with another MAP....... it doesn't have to be a Mustang specific MAP sensor, any MAP from any engine, Ford model will do.

have you changed the car over to mass air? and if it is, is there a vac. line hooked to the map? if there is unhook the map and plug the vac. line. mass air cars don't use vac. to the map. if it is still seed density make sure you have vac to the map and make sure the is not a vac. leak in theline to it.
