Overheating and Power Steering Leak, Please Help!!!
Car: 1985 Ford Mustang GTStock
1) My car has started to overheat but only seems to do so on the highway after driving for only 5 or 10 minutes. I can drive around in the city and have the car idle for long periods of time but the car will only overheat on the highway. Do you think this could be a radiator issue? I've got a new thermostat and the water pump is only 2-3 years old.
2) I've got power steering fluid leaking out of my tie-rod bellows. I have no idea why its leaking from there because I didn't think that they even held any fluid. Any idea what this may be. BTW, the rack and pinion is brand new.
Any help will be greatly appreciated!!!

RE: Overheating and Power Steering Leak, Please Help!!!
No idea why it would be over heating on hte highway and not in the city, usualy its the other way around. I'd start with pulling off the u/D pullies and see what happens with the stock ones. hances are the issue isthe U/D pullies. If it runs fine than you know whats the problem.
If you have S fluid leakin from the rack and pinion boot than you have a bad seal in it. ake it back to where you got it and get a new one, should be under warrenty still.

Thanks for your guy's help. The u/d pulleys were never a problem before(been on the car for a year 1/2). Yeah, the rack and pinion should still be under warranty so I'll have that fixed.
There is a fan shroud but as far as it slipping at high rpm's, how would I find that out?
