for me it's not about sound, i could care less.. i want the correct cam for the correct power for what i want to do :/ i went ahead and ordered the 276HR that they wanted me to get even though it's for 1.7's he said i can just move up later so i'll get around .510 or .512 lift @ 1.6 and then the full .544 @ 1.7 so.. i dunno :/ oh well

Go with what they suggest. Simply going larger to try and get more high rpm power may cause you to lose power everywhere. Often the cam specs that get a car down the track fastest aren't nearly as "large" as most poeple think.
