Hi, I have a stock 94 mustang GT and I was wondering how I would go about installing a new muffler on it. I say a new muffler because my budget is less than $200. I would like to just get a new muffler and was originally considering a loudmouth 1/2 or a cherrybomb glasspack. However, I just went out to the car and saw the exhaust enters on one side and exits on another, like this:

Does that mean that this would not work?


Maybe this style would work since it is angled?

Is your exhaust leakin atm? if not hold off and save up some cash to get a good exhaust like flowmasters or magnaflow...or anyother decent brand out there. Not to mention if you get a cherry bomb even the angled one there is a hanger that holds the exhaust right at the mufler.

buy an SLP kit if you want it, their setups are made for the resonators, where as the stock/others are made for offset/offset mufflers, those cherrybombs look like they might work, but glasspacks sound like ****
