antifreeze leaking from throttle body
I am seeing antifreeze on my valve cover below my throttle body. Would it hurt to put in a bypass for the antifreeze and what purpose does the antifreeze going though the throttle body serve??

RE: antifreeze leaking from throttle body
It actually heats up the air in the throttle body. A negative side effect of that particular set up if you are looking for power. Bypassing it won't hurt anything if you are in a warm climate and if you have an unmodified car you might even feel a power gain, but if it's cold outside and you have it bypassed you will get an erratic idle until the engine completely warms up. In cold weather, the heat from the fluid heats up the air coming in and helps the car get warmed up to a decent idle in the winter. Other than that I'm not sure if it really serves any other puppose. Someone correct me if I'm off track here.

I have never had a drop of antifreeze go through my TB and have had no problem out of it in 7+ years. I for one dont want 180+ temp water in my TB.
