Can you get a pic so we can help point it out a little better?????? The mark should be around 1/8 inch or so from the edge of that lip that is on the block.

i can get it to go if i hold the throttle while cranking itll start, run like crap miss and pop and everything then onc eilet go of the throttle it stallls..
also if im cranking i can feel air puffing out of hte Throttle body
i am so ****ING fustrated with this thing i want to burn the ****er down

at this point you might want to take it to a shop but as long as you install dizzy with number one on tdc and get the distributor rotor stabbed pointing at no 1 on cap you should be able to get enough advance or retard out of it so tfi isn't pegged against the housing..also double check firing order and make sure it is going in the counter clockwise order
