Default Still hitting bumps hard

I've changed my shocks and struts with Tokico brand HP and let some of the air out the tire. I'm still hitting the bumps hard man. Should I change the springs? What else can be done.

Its probably those darn Tokico's! I had a set of those in an old Iroc-Z years ago and man I would lose fillings out of my teeth if I hit a bump, it was like bone jarring! The car handled well though LOL

what springs do you have and what size tires and rims?? low profile tires transfer road shock alot more than tires with taller side walls..

i swapped out to the strange engineering struts n shocks, and eibach drag spings and i noticed its a much more ridged ride, but i have it set for drag so the rear is stiff and the fronts are soft....it doesnt take bumps well. but i use to have it adj. for comfort....and it road like a caddy.

so it all depends on the set-up.[&:]

I'm surprised at SteveSkal statement about the Tokicos. When I was shopping for struts/shocks, I posted the question here and got nothing but good feedback on the Tokicos.

Stock springs
Wheels are 17x9 Cobra R
Tires are 255/45/17

the struts you chose are stiffer than stock which will make the ride a little more bumpy.
