i got an 1989 lx 5.0//just replaced alternator and new battery and i put in new ford racing spark plug wires..problem is i went to start it and nothing..i have power because the headlights will come on along with interioiur lights and everything...the fuel pump turns on as well...i cant figure out could if be a nuetral safety switch?

grab a testlight and see if you have power on the small wire to selonoid which comes from ign switch and is hot in crank mode only if no 12 v in crank mode there problem could very well be a ign switch or nuetral saftey switch...try putting it in nietral and try and crank and wiggle shifter in park while trying to crank also
