Default Notchback specifications

Is it worth getting a notch? I'm still saving for another 5.0 after my prior accident resulting in getting screwed by my insurence. What is the weight difference from a stock notch vs a stock lx hatch and with subframe connectors etc on a hatchis it worth getting a notch overall?

my favorite foxbody look is a GT hatch with 2.5-3" cowl hood, saleen wing, and stalker front bumper...hands down (essentially the blue one i had in my sig, except i didnt have the stalker front)

but i crashed my GT, and am buying a roller nothc to swap all into, and i am PUMPED AS HELL to be driving a notch soon

Well I guess I can look up the weight difference. I just wasn't certain how substancially stiffer and ligher a notch. I think the Notch looks best because it's a sleeper and I am all about weight to power...... 0-60 you don't need no wing or ground effects

notches are good if you want the least weight, but IMO nothches and verts dont look nearly as good as hatchbacks

same dealy with classic coupes, Fastbacks are allways better

If you are looking for a new body go for an older 79-85. My 83 hatch supposidly weighed 25887lbs from the factory from what I have read. I don't know how accurate that is but I can't wait to get on a scale and find out!!!

My 91 GT with me in it is 3527 lbs! I never realized how heavy these cars are until I scaled it at the track.

Well it sounds like your a big guy with a heavy GT bc that is heavy for a fox. Most weigh 3100-3300 on average from what I have seen.
