Ok im gonna more than likely ditch my t5. I got a new job and have a decent amount of cash now. I have a few question. Since im goin carb in my 92 fox how do i go about the auto swap? Will i need any more electronics? Also how do you go about picking a good converter? im doin a fairly serious street/strip car.BTW ive seen these auto/manual c4 trans.....what are those exactly? Also forgot to ask what type of cars or trucks did the c4 come in????

If you are building a strip car you will want to buy a built c4. If memory serves me correctly the auto/manual c4 is the auto tranny with a manual valve body. To swap in a c4 all you will need is the tranny, a flexplate with the correct number of teeth to go with bellhousing size, shifter, shift cable, kickdown cable, torque converter, and trans cooler with lines. That is most if not all the major parts you will need.
Get ahold of these guys

I am working with them right now getting parts for my c4. Great prices.
His name on here is c4king , he is on from time to time so if you pm him and he doesn't reply thats why.

No not really, c4king told me he would build me a 400hp c4 for under $600. A converter is about 200-300, flexplate under 100, I paid 45 for my cooler, and like 60 for my kickdown cable. It really isn't that bad. If you want to go all out you can get a PA performance c4 for about $1000-$1500. Same for a TCI trans. I hear that the redneck c4's are a great item too but idk who to contact about those.

It you want cheap you can get a c4 from the junk yard for about $100 prolly.
